Counseling and Therapy Services

What is Counseling?

People of all ages and backgrounds seek out therapy for a variety of reasons. Some are facing a difficult situation; some feel dissatisfied with their relationships; while others experience depression, anxiety, or another mental health disorder. Counseling makes strong people stronger.

When the problems become overwhelming counseling can help. Sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration, and basically consist of a supportive environment where you can talk about your difficulties with a nonjudgmental, neutral professional. It is a relationship based on collaboration where you work with your therapist to identify and alter thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are keeping you from feeling and doing your best.
