Donna Murphree is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who received a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Texas State University. She has worked with people in crisis for twelve years in the hospital setting, and provided counseling services to clients in nursing homes, home health, hospice and private practice. She also served as Program Manager for the Heritage Program for Senior Adults, an intensive outpatient program, for four years. Mrs. Murphree has most recently worked with younger clients suffering from ADHD and their parents in a federally qualified health clinic, as well as adults of all ages experiencing depression, panic attacks, anxiety and PTSD. She has experience using EMDR having completed Basic Training with Austin based therapists who practice Francine Shapiro’s methods. Donna enjoys gardening and exploring nature parks with her husband.
